Marked 83°C (approx. 181°F) opening temperature, with a partial Mercedes-Benz number and Behr reference "2 055 83 003" stamped on the top face. Behr-Thomson supplied MB automotive, industrial and marinized OM-series diesel cooling circuits — the specific engine application for this piece has NOT been verified, so it is offered by photographs, identifiers, and dimensions.

Condition: New / NOS. Unused, clean sealing land, no corrosion or coolant scale, brass pin and spring free. Original box shows storage wear and label damage. No O-ring or gasket pictured — assume not included. Not bench-tested; the 83°C rating is the manufacturer's own marking.
