Detroit Diesel 71-series water-cooled exhaust manifold section (4-71/6-71 style)

Application: Water-cooled cast iron exhaust manifold for an inline 6-cylinder marine diesel engine — six individual oval head ports, integral water jacket, multiple threaded coolant/raw-water ports, and a rear 4-bolt flanged riser outlet. Finished in Volvo Penta green and pulled from a Volvo-marked crate, so it may fit a Volvo Penta inline-6 (TMD/TAMD family) application; the brand and engine model are not verified and no OEM part number is legible on the casting.

Condition: Used take-off, untested. Surface rust and paint loss, corrosion at the outlet flange and plug bosses, carbon and light pitting on the port faces. No cracks visible in photos, but the water jacket has not been pressure-tested and the casting has not been crack-checked. Plan on cleaning, testing, and new gaskets/plugs before installation. The manifold will be drained and ports capped before shipping.
